(Windsor, Ontario) Roger Neilson’s Coaches Clinic announces a brand new podcast, ‘6° of Roger Neilson’, hosted by Vinny Malts and presented by Bloodline Hockey.
The show is designed in honor of one of the greatest pioneers of coaching innovation and connection, Hall of Famer, Roger Neilson. The first three episodes will be available for download later this month and feature Jiri Fischer – Director of Player Evaluation of the Detroit Red Wings, and former NHL players/coaches, Mike Foligno and Dan Lacroix. Additional episodes will be released bi-weekly.
‘6°of Roger Neilson’ will be available for download from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Pandora and more.
“Roger was a strong believer in sharing his knowledge with others. This philosophy is at the heart of his annual clinic, and the podcast will allow us to continue to engage our audience and help coaches throughout the season. We’ve been so fortunate to attract some of the best minds in the game to present at the clinic each June that it seemed like a natural way to extend those conversations with Vinny at the mic. The spirit of Rog is in everything we do and we know he’d be really excited by the idea of a podcast and the opportunity to further educate passionate coaches around the world.”
“I’m so privileged to host a show in Roger’s honor.” said ‘6° of Roger Neilson’ host, Vinny Malts “…I love that I’m able to use what I’ve learned from the game to drive a deeper conversation to help coaches and players develop on and off the ice”
