Vinny Malts
Former professional hockey player and coach, Vinny Malts has trained with top leaders in mental development, and some of the best thinkers and strategists in the world of hockey, to develop his training program. As a mental performance coach for for the NHL, the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, keynote speaker for the USHL combine, presenter for USA Hockey Level 4 coaches education seminars, and with thousands of satisfied athletes, it’s no wonder that Vinny as been named the “player whisperer” for his work in the mental conditioning field.
Vince Malts has coached at the professional and amateur level for over 20 years. His professional playing journey began in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Hull Olympiques, where he was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks. After 10 years of playing minor pro hockey, Coach Vince decided to follow his passion for coaching and mentoring players. He has been fortunate to have coached at the ECHL, EJHL, and Tier I U18/U16/U14 levels.
Coach Malts has helped build some of the strongest youth hockey programs around the country. He has experience of building successful programs at every level/stage of development. His head coaching journey began through the mentorship of the Legacy Global Sports family over 10 years ago, which is the largest professional youth hockey organization around the world.
Some of his achievements include building the U16 National and U18 programs for the WBS Jr. Knights, as well as helping the program win a National Championship in 2012. He has also been hired as a consultant with other top ranked independent club programs.

Coach Vince is a certified USA Hockey Level 4 Coach, Mindset Performance Institute Ambassador, and International Youth Conditioning Association Specialist. He is the owner of Bloodline Hockey with his wife, Marisa and currently resides in Voorhees, NJ with their two children, Naomi & Nash.
